... Regarding the COVID-19 virus
|HumaniT Cafe||Mar 18|| 3|
Attention Halifax, we have a few updates and important announcements regarding the status of both Humani-T Cafe locations with regards to the COVID-19 virus that has spread rapidly around the globe:
Our Young St location will be offering free delivery starting tomorrow (Friday) to anywhere on the Peninsula. Delivery is free ($35 minimum purchase). You can see our delivery menu below. Deliveries are all done between 11am - 2:30 pm. Any orders that are placed outside of this time slot will be delivered the next day. Overnight orders can be emailed to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Both locations will be doing take-out only. No cash accepted. Curb-side pick-up is highly encouraged.
Our South Park location is giving away food to those in need. We have 7 boxes filled up with produce we won't be using, including milk, eggs, onions, tomatoes, apples, bananas, sweet potatoes, and white potatoes. First come, first serve. They will be kept in our walk-in fridge and brought out as needed. Please prioritize those in need.
We are selling gift cards at DISCOUNTED rates. $50 gift cards will be $45; and $100 gift cards will be $80. If you have the means and would like to support us, purchasing these gift cards would help us pay our staff and survive the next few weeks while being closed.
Our last day open South Park will be March 22nd. Hours until then will be 8am - 4pm.
Young St will remain open for now, focusing on delivery and take out. Hours of operation will be 9 - 5.
Please stay safe, and it goes without saying: Please stay home if you can (this is why we've set up delivery for you). This is a time to take care of each other, to be selfless, and to get through this difficult time as one connected family.
